    Venison Ragu is a  meaty pasta sauce made with prime roe deer venison from Tuscany.

     

    It has a more delicate flavour and finer texture than the traditional red deer venison and is often considered to be one of the most prestigious of game meats.

     

    Try it:

    Simply heat it up and serve it with cooked egg pasta, a sprinkling of grated Parmesan and a big glass of red wine.


    Ingredients: roe deer (35%), chopped tomatoes, beef, extra virgin olive oil, double concentrated tomato puree, red wine (contains SULPHITES), onion, carrot, CELERY, salt, garlic, pepper, mixed spices, bay leaves.


    About the Producer:

    I Toscanacci sauces are made by Le Bontà, a company based in Prato just a short distance from Florence, in the heart of Tuscany. It was founded in 1994 by a family with a passion for traditional Tuscan food.  The name means 'goodness' and by using regional recipes and simple ingredients, it produces sauces Italian grandmothers would be proud of.
