It’s widely acknowledged in Italy that the best pasta comes from Abruzzo, and it’s here that we found Pastificio Masciarelli. Our award winning producer in this region makes simply exceptional artisan pasta – in fact one of the best dried pasta we have tried. This small family-run business been producing the finest quality pasta since 1867. All their pasta is made with specially selected grain and is drawn through bronze dies, giving the surface a slightly rough texture which allows the sauce to adhere to it better. Whilst most modern pasta is dried in just an hour or two, Masciarelli’s pasta is left to dry slowly for around 48 hours at very low temperatures. Husband and wife team, Chiara and Agostino Masciarelli take great pride and the utmost care in creating their pasta, and it shows. FRESH GOODS: For deliveries containing fresh goods we will add an ice pack that lasts for 24-48hrs. We will also put a sticker on the outside of your parcel to let you know there are items inside that need to be chilled.  Please bear this in mind when selecting your delivery date and address.
