contract When you place an order using our website this is an offer by you to us to purchase these items. When we confirm your order this is to indicate that we have received it. It does not indicate that we have accepted it. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us when we send you an invoice.
prices and availability of goodsAll prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery is charged extra. We do our best to ensure that the goods advertised on our website are available at the advertised price but they may not be available at that price or they may be temporarily out of stock or unavailable. If we cannot accept your order because goods are unavailable or no longer available at the advertised price we shall advise you and reject your order and give you the opportunity to amend your order.
backordersMany of our suppliers are small-scale, artisan producers: therefore all products are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
alcoholIt is illegal in the UK to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol. No persons under 18 years may place an order with Antonio Giorgi Ltd if the goods contain alcohol.
payment We accept payment by debit cards or credit cards with Visa and MasterCard. When an order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. The payment will be debited from your account upon receipt of your order. Completing the payment information and submitting the order implies authority to debit the relevant card.
Please note we cannot guarantee the security of any data which you send to us by email or fax. We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provided in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
shipping & handling - mainland UK - delivery is Free for orders over £50, £4.95 for orders over £25 and £7.95 on all others

We do not sell or deliver to countries outside of UK.
Fresh foods, such as cheeses and cured meats, will be wrapped with ice packs to maintain a cool temperature for at least 24 hours. Fragile items, such as bottles and jars will be wrapped in protective packaging.
delivery scheduleGoods will be dispatched from Monday to Thursday by courier. Delivery usually takes 1-2 days. Orders received after 12pm on Thursdays will be sent out the following Monday. We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days. Please note that all packages should arrive between 9am and 5pm and must be signed for, so we advise taking delivery at a business premises. This is especially important for deliveries of chilled goods. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that have been instructed to be left unsigned by the customer.
cancellationsIn relation to non-perishable goods only. You have the right to cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time from placing your order until 7 working days from the day after you received the ordered items. You must give us written notice of your cancellation by e-mail, fax or post. If you cancel your order following dispatch of the goods, you must also return the goods to us. You must not unpack goods when they are received by you if you have already cancelled your contract. You must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible. We will then refund your credit or debit card with the total value of your order (including delivery charges) within 30 days of cancellation PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.
In relation to perishable goods and sealed items where the seal has been broken, you will not have the right to cancel your order once it has been dispatched.
returns Everything you buy from us is dispatched in the best possible condition. If the goods you receive are damaged, defective or different from the goods you ordered you will be entitled to either replacement goods or a full refund. All goods must be examined on delivery and any loss or damage must be notified in writing or by telephone within two days from the date of delivery. Where applicable reasonable proof must be provided in order that we may claim from our insurers. After delivery we cannot accept responsibility for any defect or damage to the goods caused by unsatisfactory handling or storage in unsuitable conditions. The cost of returning the damaged, defective or dissimilar goods shall be paid by us.
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
retention of titleAll goods remain the property of Antonio Giorgi Ltd until payment in full has been received and cleared. The risk of ownership passes to the buyer on delivery.
events beyond our controlEvery effort will be made to carry out the contract but its performance is subject to cancellation or variation as may be necessary as a result of an act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour, Dispute, Fire,
Flood, Drought or other cause beyond the control of Antonio Giorgi Ltd.
privacy policy Antonio Giorgi Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
You agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy.

governing lawThis contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
entire agreementThese terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you by us.
