"Sun-dried Tomatoes"

Our Producer’s sun-dried are only made with the internationally celebrated and prestigious San Marzano tomatoes from the south of Italy.

Their preserving technique has been perfected over the last three generations so as not to compromise the flavour of the raw materials.

Chop some up and add to a tuna fish salad or whizz up with some toasted pine nut, parmesan cheese, olive oil and some garlic for a simple pesto to stir through pasta. Suitable for vegetarians.

About the Producer
Oliveri
Started in the 1920's with the then head of the family, Emilio, working with mushrooms in Piancastagna, a little village situated a few kilometers from Acqui Terme in the south region of Piemonte.
The majority of the ingredients they use are grown in their fields, helping to keep complete control over the antipasti products they produce.
They still thrive today as an 'old style' family producer but now with a shop in Acqui Terme being a large part of how they sell.
