Parmesan can only be produced in restricted areas - the provinces of Modena, Parma and Reggio Emilia and partially Bologna and Mantova.

The parmesan we have selected is aged for 24 months, generally considered to be its peak, has a fullness of flavour and an unmistakeable aroma.

It is an extremely versatile cheese, wonderful for grating over pasta, stirring into soups, shaving onto salads or just eating chunks drizzled with a good quality balsamic vinegar.
