La Bella Angiolina The origins of the character of La Bella Angiolina go back centuries to a Ligurian folk heroine who created local dishes so delicious that she was named "the beautiful little angel." Faithful to local traditions while using a deft yet sensitive hand and the best quality ingredients, Luca Bastieri and family recreate traditional favourites in the sun-drenched Italian Riviera. The company's history is centuries old and began in 1462 when Mr Francesco Divizia moved to Liguria from Perugia and dedicated his life to the cultivation of olives. After hundreds of years and plenty of experience, the Divizia family are still producing olive oil as well as a range of baked goods, pestos and sauces.
