"Piemontese Chocolate Pudding"This Bunet or Bonet, as it is otherwise known as, is a well known dessert from Northern Italy.
It's not clear where the name comes from: some say that it is after the copper mould it's traditionally cooked in that is shaped like a bonnet, others believe that because it was served at the end of the meal, just before the guests' put their hats on to go home.
It is a creamy cooked custard dessert made with chocolate, crushed amaretti biscuits and amaretto liqueur.
It serves 2 people, so simply tip onto a plate and add a couple of spoons - perfect for sharing!
